PETA
PETA India’s Recommendations for Humane Pet Transport

PETA India emphasizes the ethical treatment of animals during transportation and offers the following guidelines:

1. Use of Proper Carriers
    •    Ensure carriers are sturdy, well-ventilated, and escape-proof.
    •    Familiarize pets with carriers before travel to reduce stress.

2. Avoid Sedation
    •    Sedating pets can be dangerous during transport.
    •    Consult a veterinarian before considering any sedatives.

3. Travel Conditions
    •    Avoid transporting pets during extreme temperatures.
    •    Ensure pets have access to water and are not left unattended in vehicles.
